The house is full of character and spread over three floors. There’s a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, and three bedrooms (one single, one twin and one double with ensuite). As well as the ensuite there are two separate bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a shower over the bath. You can scroll through the pictures to get a sense of what the house is like.
Since it is a three-storey house with no lift, it’s unfortunately not suitable for those with accessibility needs. Also bear in mind that there’s a fair amount of exercise involved going up and down the stairs looking for clues!
(Note that there will be one room on the downstairs floor and a couple of locked cupboards that are not part of the game – these are locked and marked clearly)
Sadly the house does not have its own parking. There are spaces on the street outside the house that are free for 1hr, which would be handy for unloading the car. As for car parks, the closest one is the Abbey Car Park in Gander Lane (about 100m away) – this is short stay at £1/hour up to £6 for the day (free on Sundays). There is a long-stay car park further down Gander Lane and this charges £4 per day. If the water level is very high, the Abbey Car Park is a safer bet as the long-stay sometimes floods.
